No Sleeves

It’s nonsensical and silly, yes.

I always despised coming up with titles for papers. God help me when I get around to having a kid and setting about ruining their life, building block by building block–the name’ll be the first thing I fuck up.

Here’s the deal: When a band exists that makes you question your sanity, your faith in capitalism, your devotion to materialism and the fact that you’re NOT punk–well, you owe it to yourself to pay tribute by naming your blog that no one sees after a completely farcical song.*

What does “No Sleeves” mean? Absurdity, contradiction, anarchy: everything life should encompass but somehow gets lost in the current of progress and responsibility.

We can learn from Les Savy Fav. Rock the fuck out.
